W ciągu ostatnich 30 lat populacja wróbli w miastach Europy drastycznie spada. W Londynie i Hamburgu ich liczba spadła o 80%. W Warszawie. W latach 80 XX w. było 50 tys. par. Teraz jest ich 40% mniej.
Wróbel towarzyszy człowiekowi od tysięcy lat. Spróbujcie wyobrazić sobie miasto bez ich świergotu.
Naukowcy ogłosili 20 marca Światowym Dniem Wróbla.
Over the past 30 years the population of sparrows in cities of Europe falls dramatically. In London and Hamburg, their number decreased by 80%. In Warsaw, in the 80-ties of XX century, was 50 thousands pairs. Now there are 40% less.
Sparrow accompanies a man for thousands years. Try to imagine the city without their chirp.
