The dog is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I know because I've researched for a nice lapdog that would be good with kids (grandkids) and this is the breed I picked or a mix of this breed with a Brichon Frisee. They are great little dogs.
You did a great job of capturing him.

We were quite sure that's a kind of Spaniel, but didn't know exactly.
We also liked this guy very much - and thanks to You we'll know what to look for in the future :-D
